Our story
A pantry built by the people it serves
Harbor Hands Community Pantry is a food pantry in Baltimore, Maryland. We share groceries with neighbors facing food insecurity, and we want every visit to feel like stopping by a friend's kitchen.
The shelves are stocked by our community. Neighbors drop off canned goods, rice, pasta and other shelf-stable food, along with reusable bags and everyday supplies. Volunteers give their time to pack groceries, keep the shelves in order and greet people at the door.
We keep things plain and simple. You can check our hours before you come, ask us about eligibility and any documents you might need, and talk to someone if you are not sure where to start. If you are coming for the first time, you are welcome here.
